Student answer (Band 5.0)

In recent year, debate over that all universiities inevitably include the course in which they get time for study abroad or get a work exposure, so which help them to become confident and resilient. this essay will discuss both advantages or disadvantages before presenting my own view point.

On one hand, Advent of digital era student should not limited their course.

but also know whats happeining around them in the globe for that they need to explore the world. Solitude themselves from their comfortzone.studing abroad or work placement to become autonomy. also how to be altrustic, pragmatic approach towards world.

on the other hand ,its have few disadvantages as well some people developed finicky, ostracize behaviour towards others and also dropout from their studies, they think this work placement is permanent but barvado destroy them.

i argue that universities should include this course which help student to become independent and work placement give them sense of responsibilty, give them confidence, furthermore they know their capabilities which help them to chose their field, knowning their interest

on this conclusion, universities should include this course for certain time which student go abroad for study or work know their interest.which help them their academics and also increases their productivity and also have been limited to developed bad nature and pragmatic approach towards world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address the topic and give a clear preference for including overseas study or work placements, especially when you write that these experiences can build independence, responsibility and confidence. However, the response only partially answers whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages: the benefits are listed rather than explained with specific examples, and the disadvantages are difficult to understand, particularly the claim that students may become “finicky” or that “barvado destroy them.” The opening promises to discuss both sides, but neither side is developed enough to support a reasoned comparison. The response is also 36 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to explain your ideas. Develop one or two relevant points on each side and explicitly compare their importance before concluding.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some organisation: you begin with an introduction, use “On one hand” and “on the other hand” to signal contrasting views, and finish with a conclusion. These features help readers recognise the intended structure. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. For example, “Solitude themselves from their comfortzone” is disconnected from the preceding point, and the paragraph about disadvantages moves quickly from behaviour to dropping out without explaining the relationship. The final paragraph repeats several benefits rather than bringing the comparison together. Some linking phrases, such as “for that” and “on this conclusion,” are awkward or unclear. Use separate, focused paragraphs, connect each supporting point to its explanation, and make the conclusion directly state why one side outweighs the other.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of vocabulary related to personal development, including “resilient,” “autonomy,” “altruistic,” and “pragmatic.” This shows an effort to use less common language rather than relying only on basic terms. However, several choices are inaccurate or obscure the intended meaning: “Solitude themselves” does not express the likely idea of leaving one’s comfort zone, while “barvado destroy them” is not understandable in context. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “universiities,” “happeining,” “studing,” and “responsibilty,” as well as inconsistent spacing. These issues make some points difficult to follow. Prioritise accurate, natural collocations and check spelling; clear phrases such as “gain independence” are more effective than ambitious but unsuitable word choices.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts some longer structures, including “which help them to become confident and resilient” and “which help them to chose their field,” but control is limited and many sentences contain errors that can make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “In recent year, debate over that all universities inevitably include,” “student should not limited their course,” and “its have few disadvantages.” These show problems with articles, verb forms, agreement and sentence construction. Several fragments, such as “Solitude themselves from their comfortzone,” also lack a complete grammatical structure. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, with sentence boundaries often unclear. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using relative clauses or conjunctions, checking that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
