Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is debate going on that all university udergraduate courses should involve a period of time spent studing in other country or doing a work placement. The benefits of studing abroad or work placement is more than drawback, while the universities provide financial and insitution support.
On the one hand, include a period o time to spent studing abroad or doing work placement not all students afford it because most of the students are not financialy strong and they do not pay high tution fee. Furthermore, spending away from campus sometime it make dificult and they can face relationship issue and as long time break from campus to doing work placement in other country or studing delay their courses. For example, when the studens go another place or country for work experience and study purpose, so they spend a long time there and can have a chances to delay their course.
On the other hand, there have many advantages for studing and work in other country because this period of time should helpfull for tier carear. In adition, this short effort increase the chance of thier employment when they work in global market and this time they make relationship with many international employes. Such as,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both sides of the question and state a position in the introduction: the benefits are greater, provided universities offer support. The affordability of placements and possible delays to study are relevant disadvantages, while career prospects and international contacts are relevant advantages. However, the response is incomplete: the final example begins with “Such as,” but is not finished, and the advantages are asserted rather than explained with a specific example. The position also needs clearer development, including how university support would reduce the costs or other drawbacks. The response is 45 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your ideas. Extend each main point and complete the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic, recognisable structure: an introduction followed by a paragraph on disadvantages and one on advantages. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast, and the ideas generally relate to the topic. However, progression within paragraphs is weak: the example about students delaying their courses largely repeats the preceding point instead of adding support. The unfinished “Such as,” also leaves the final paragraph abruptly incomplete, and there is no conclusion to bring the argument together. Some linking is mechanical, and the sentence beginning “For example” is difficult to follow. Develop a clear sequence of claim, explanation and example in each paragraph, then finish with a concise conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “work placement,” “employment,” “global market” and “international employees,” so the main subject is usually clear. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “short effort” does not clearly describe a placement, and “relationship issue” is vague in this context. Spelling errors such as “studing,” “finacialy” and “insitution” are noticeable and reduce accuracy. Aim to use precise phrases for costs, academic disruption and career benefits, and check spelling carefully. The suggestions below offer more natural alternatives for some of your wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a time clause beginning “when.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to follow. For instance, “The benefits … is” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “spending away from campus sometime it make dificult” has an unclear structure and incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “Furthermore” also combines several ideas without a clear grammatical relationship. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add a subordinate clause where appropriate. Check agreement and verb forms before adding further complexity.
