Student answer (Band 5.0)
It has been observed that all universities are providing study abroad counselling to the undergraduates to help make their mind clear towards their goals or teaching practical skills. All educational institute degree programs should include a period of time in the timetable to spend it for studying overseas or doing a work of placement. I presume that the benefits of this action would surpass it's drawbacks to a major extent. My position is elaborated futher with reasons and relevant example.
The brighter side of, the foremost one is that it guide a student to decide their pathway after graduation wether they want start professional life afterwards or to do some kind of work. It has been seen that those student's who already made their mind and have some aims for future, they find it easy to progress futher and work on their plans. Moreover, wider picture of objectives assist to acheive results earlier then time required to do. In addition, as if they want to pursue thier career as a medical officer they focus on the process and work on it step by step rather then being confused about what to do.
Futhermore, setting goals and working on them is excellent rather than wasting time after graduation exploring different courses or programs. Sometime students took wrong career path against their will due to the fact that they didn't done proper research, and the fear of wasting time make them go on any path available. Having no intrest in profession and pursing it just because of being on the line anf following what others doing make them frustrated and anxious which in-turn affect their professional and personal life equally.
To sum up with, there are both merits and demerits of couseling student for future perspectives. However, I believe that schooling should involve a period of time for the counseling of students as it has numerous advantages. For instance, to help them development their mind for decision making and also encourage them to focus of their objectives are one of them,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear view that the benefits would outweigh the drawbacks, and you give relevant reasons about helping students choose a career and avoid unsuitable paths. However, the response only partially addresses the actual proposal: the task is about a required period of study abroad or work placement, while much of your discussion shifts to counselling and goal-setting. The link between overseas study or workplace experience and better career decisions is not explained with concrete examples or developed evidence. The conclusion repeats the view but again recommends counselling rather than the specified course requirement. To strengthen the response, discuss both study abroad and placements directly, consider a disadvantage, and explain why the benefits outweigh it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “In addition” and “Furthermore” signal additions, and the ideas about career choice are grouped together. However, progression is limited because several sentences repeat the same point about setting goals, while the relationship between the proposed overseas or placement period and these benefits remains unclear. Some linking phrases are awkward or inaccurate, including “The brighter side of, the foremost one” and “To sum up with.” The final sentence also ends with a comma, leaving the conclusion unfinished. Use clearer topic sentences and make each paragraph develop a distinct reason tied to the task.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “pathway,” “professional life,” “career,” and “objectives,” and the general meaning is usually recoverable. There is also some variety in how you describe students’ future choices. However, the range is limited by repeated references to goals and career paths, and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, such as “work of placement,” “wider picture of objectives,” and “focus of their objectives.” Spelling errors are frequent, for example “futher,” “acheive,” “thier,” and “intrest,” which reduce the accuracy and polish of the writing. Build a more precise vocabulary for placements and international study, and check spelling and common word partnerships carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if they want to pursue their career as a medical officer,” and you use subordinate clauses to explain causes and effects. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “it guide a student,” “those student's who already made their mind,” and “students took wrong career path”; these show problems with agreement, tense, articles and sentence construction. The opening sentence also has an unclear structure, and the final sentence is incomplete. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences before adding multiple clauses, then proofread punctuation and verb forms.
