Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of the university undergrduate cariculum must contain a peroid of time spent study in overseas or performing a practical work settlement because, move to foreign university to study in our field of interest.
Firstly, i am in the favour to spend most of the time to study abroad while it has a lot of benifits for the students to achive thier goals from well recognised institute and also there is a numerous number of benifits like fully funded scholarship which fullfill all the financial requirement of candidates furthermore, they will meet with a lot of people who have distinguish race, culture, and habits. For example, if a person want to be a good cyber security engineer they should have to give a lot of time for their own field to be a master one.
On the other hand, there is also drawbacks like they will face a lot of difficulties to survive alone from their families like cooking for their own self, washing cloths and medical issues. For example, if some one live in the apparments of the buildings and they have not friends in there rooms and he become sick.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You take a position in favour of overseas study or work placement and mention relevant benefits, including scholarships and exposure to different cultures, as well as difficulties such as living independently. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it does not clearly compare whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and the work-placement option receives little attention. The examples, such as the cybersecurity student and someone becoming ill in an apartment, are not explained enough to show how they support your argument. The response is also 58 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your ideas. State your judgement explicitly and extend each main point with a clear explanation or specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic, “Firstly” signals benefits, and “On the other hand” introduces drawbacks. This gives the reader some sense of the two sides. However, the response does not progress to a conclusion, and the relationship between several ideas is unclear. For instance, the opening sentence combines a claim about course requirements with an incomplete explanation about moving abroad, while the scholarship point runs into the cultural-benefits point without clear separation. Use one paragraph for each main side and a final paragraph to weigh them and restate your position. Make links between claims and examples explicit rather than relying mainly on transition phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “scholarship,” “financial requirement,” “culture,” and “cyber security engineer,” so the reader can identify the subject and several intended points. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “undergrduate cariculum,” “benifits,” and “work settlement.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “distinguish race” and “master one.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “undergraduate curriculum,” “work placement,” “different ethnic backgrounds,” and “become an expert.” Proofread spelling carefully and choose vocabulary that expresses the intended meaning precisely; this will make your ideas clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the contrast between benefits and drawbacks is recognisable. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, which sometimes makes the intended relationships unclear. For example, “because, move to foreign university to study in our field of interest” is an incomplete clause, while “if a person want … they should have to give” contains problems with agreement and verb construction. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “a numerous number” and the long sentence beginning “Firstly.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and clause punctuation. More accurate control of these basics will help your longer ideas remain understandable.
