Student answer (Band 5.0)

NOWADAYS IT IS VERY CONCERNABLE THING ABOUT ALL THE UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE COURCES SHOULD INCLUDE A PERIOD OF TIME SPENT STUDYING ABROAD OR DOING A WORK PLACMENT. FROM MY PERSPECTIVE I BELIEVE THAT ALL UNIVERSITIES SHOULD APPLY THIS APPROACH TO THEIR MODULES. BECAUSE IT IS CRUCIAL TO GO FOR EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES AND BUILT THEIR NETWORK IN ALL OVER THE WORLD AND DOING WORK PLACEMENT FROM THE UNIVERSITY AFTER COMPLETING UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME.

FIRST ALL UNIVERSITIES SHOULD APPLY THIS APPROACH BECAUSE IT IS CRUCIAL TO GO ABROAD FOR EDUCATION AND FOR WORK. IT WILL HELP LL THE STUDENTS TO TAKE EXPOSURE. AND BUILT THEIR NETWORK. FOR EXAMPLE, CONSIDER ONE STUDENT WHO DO THEIR EDUCATION FROM BEST INSTITUTE FROM THEIR COUNTRY AND AND GIVE OPPORUNITIES THEIR STUDENTS TO GO FOR SEMESTER EXCHANGES PROGRAMME AND OTHER STUDENT WHO DO THEIR EDUCATION FROM AVERAGE COLLAGE WHO DO NOT GIVE ANY TYPE OF EXPOSURE AND WORK PLACEMENT. SO FIRST STUDENT CAN EASILY GO TO THEIR DESTINATION AND OTHER CAN NOT DO BETTER BECAUSE OF THE UNIVERSITY.

SECOND IT IS ALSO GOOD FOR UNIVERSITIES WHO DO PARTNERSHIP TO THE ABROAD UNIVERSITIES FOR SEMISTER EXCHANGE PROGRAMME. BECAUSE, THEY CAN EASILY ATTRACT STUDENTS FOR STUDYING IN THE UNIVERSITY FOR UNDERGRADUATE. AND PLACMENT IS ALSO CRUCIAL TO EVERYBODY. IF STUDENT IS GOOD IN THEIR ACADEMICS AND WANT TO TAKE BEST PLACMENT. SO UNIVERSITIES TPO AND PLACEMENT CELL SHOULD INCAURAGE THE COMPINIES THAT WE HAVE BEST STUDENTS THAT EASILY FIT IN YOUR COMPANY. AND AFTER WORK JOB PLACEMENT, UNIVERSITIES SHOULD DOING ADVERTISEMENT OF PLACEMENTS. THEREFORE STUDENTS SHOULD EASILY ATTRACT TO TAKE ADMISSION.

IN CONCLUSION, FRO M MY PERSPECTIVE IT IS VERY CRUCIAL TO ALL UNIVERSITIES TO INCLUDE A PERIOD OF TIME SPENT STUDYING ABROAD OR DOING PLACEMENT. BECAUSE MAKING INTERNATIONAL RELATION AND ALSO BEST FUTURE OF STUDENT.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You take a clear position in favour of including overseas study or work placements, and you give relevant reasons: students can gain exposure and build international networks, while universities may attract applicants through exchange links and placement opportunities. However, the response only partly answers the comparison in the question: it does not explain the disadvantages or directly weigh them against the benefits. Several points are also asserted rather than developed—for example, the contrast between a “best institute” and an “average collage” does not clearly show how a compulsory period abroad benefits all students. To strengthen the response, address at least one realistic drawback, such as cost or unequal access, and explain why the advantages still outweigh it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs introduced by “FIRST” and “SECOND,” and a conclusion. These signposts help readers identify the main sections, and the ideas generally remain related to university exchange and placement schemes. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow. The long example beginning “consider one student” contains repeated and unclear references to “their,” and the connection between university partnerships, attracting students, and advertising placements is not fully explained. Linking phrases such as “Because” and “Therefore” are sometimes used mechanically or do not show a clear logical relationship. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence, using more precise referencing.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “exchange programmes,” “work placement,” “partnership,” “exposure,” and “international relation.” This gives the response a basic range for discussing education and employment. However, frequent spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word choices make some phrases difficult to understand, such as “concernable thing,” “take exposure,” and “best placement.” Repetition of “crucial,” “students,” and “universities” also limits flexibility. Focus on accurate collocations and spelling, and choose words that express the intended meaning precisely. For instance, “gain international experience” is more natural than “take exposure,” while “career prospects” could help you discuss the benefits more specifically.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic connectors, but sentence structures are limited and errors are frequent enough to make parts of the argument hard to follow. Several clauses are incomplete, including “Because it is crucial to go for exchange programmes…” and “If student is good in their academics and want to take best placement.” Verb forms and agreement are also inconsistent: “one student who do” and “universities should doing advertisement” need correction. Articles and plurals are often missing or inaccurate, as in “all the university” and “semester exchanges programme.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, articles, and verb forms. A few accurate complex sentences would make your reasoning easier to follow.
