The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Categories of library users

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The pie chart represents the percentage of library users which comes from different categories while the table illustrates the satisfaction level of them in five parameters.

It is clear from the graph that majority of population comes from full-time graduate department which is almost half of all with 44%. Only few students comes from academic staff and which are in distance learning with 7 and 8 percentage. Half quarter of customers are from that college who pursue full-time postgraduate. Remaining 16% covered by part-time postgraduates.

On the other side, students are highly satisfied with both; library opening hours and helpfulness of staff but only half amount of people give positive review towards availability of books while other 40% are fairly satisfied with this and remaining people give negative review. More people are disagree with availability of journals and reliability of wi-fi and only below 50% are given the positive feedback.

Overall, the people who study full time, are more engage with the library and they are very satisfied with staff's work.
