The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The pie chart illustrates the data of users in the library in different categories, whereas the table indicates the satisfaction survey of library users.

There are 7% academic staff that uses library on their daily basis. 44% of the library users are full-time undergraduate, whereas the 25% are part-time undergraduate. There are numerous individuals who are using the library from distance learning including all courses results in 8%. However, 25% of users are full-time postgraduate.

The table shows the satisfaction survey in percentage for library users for categories of very satisfied, fairly satisfied, and not satisfied. For instance, in library opening hours, 65% are very satisfied, whereas 35% are fairly satisfied, while no one is dissatisfied with them. Moreover, the data for helpfulness of staff includes with high satisfaction rate, which is 95%, while 5% are fairly satisfied, and nobody is disappointed. 50% people believes that books are available easily, whereas 10% are not satisfied with them, and 40% are fairly satisfied. 45% users are happy with the journals, and 35% are fairly satisfied, with 20% rate of dissatisfaction. The survey for the reliability of wi-fi shows that 48% users are satisfied with them, and 33% are fairly satisfied with 19% dissatisfaction rate.

Overall, maximum numbers of library users are full time undergraduate, whereas only few users are of distance learning. The survey indicates the users are satisfied on the average rate, in which some are very satisfied, while others are fairly satisfied.
