The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The given figures, a pie chart and a table, give information about a survey of the categories and satisfaction of library members at a university. It is clear that most of the library users is full-time undergraduate students and the assistance of staffs was the highest satisfied figure.

To begin with, academic staffs and distance learning people form the least proportion of visitors of library with seven and eight percent respectively while the part-time postgraduates were sixteen percent as shown in crossed line sector. Full time postgraduates, on the other hand, make quarter of the members, leaving full-time undergraduates as the single largest group at 44 percent.

Turning to user satisfaction, staff helpfulness scored the highest approval, with 95 percent of members feeling very satisfied and 5% fairly satisfied, while no one was dissatisfied. Library opening hours also received positive feedback, with 65 percent very satisfied and 35% fairly satisfied. Although half of the users were very satisfied with book availability, 10 percent expressed dissatisfaction. In contrast, the highest levels of dissatisfaction were recorded for journal availability and Wi-Fi reliability, at 20 percent and 19 percent respectively.
