Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response covers the main features of the data, but the presentation is inconsistent. While you identify the categories of users and some satisfaction levels, the analysis is hampered by unclear reporting of the data. For instance, stating 'the people who are fulfillment of availability of books is 50' is confusing and lacks context regarding the scale or units. You successfully highlight the most popular user categories and the highest satisfaction areas, but the comparison between the two datasets is weak. To improve, ensure you clearly label the data points and provide a more cohesive summary of the trends rather than just listing figures, which often appear disconnected from the actual survey results.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. The use of cohesive devices like 'Afterwards' and 'Next to this' is sometimes forced or inappropriate for the context. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the final sentence which cuts off abruptly, leaving the reader without a complete thought. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through the data logically.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations. For example, 'tabular chart depict the information of library customer fulfillment' is unnatural; 'table shows library user satisfaction' would be more accurate. You also use 'inclined' incorrectly when referring to percentages. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'proportion' and 'category', the overall range is limited. To improve, focus on learning common collocations used in data description, such as 'a significant proportion' or 'a high level of satisfaction'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('the two least users are... which are only inclined'), incorrect preposition usage, and sentence fragments. The sentence structure is often repetitive, relying on simple patterns. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often marred by errors, such as 'the people who are fulfillment of availability of books is 50'. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article usage. Increasing the variety of sentence structures will also help improve your score.
