The chart and table illustrate the outcome of a survey conducted among library users at a particular university.
Overall, full-time undergraduate and full-time postgraduate students contributed the highest proportions of library users, while academic staff represented the smallest group. Moreover, Library users were most satisfied with the helpfulness of staff and the library opening hours.
An analysis of the image reveals that full-time undergraduate students accounted for 44% of library users, whereas full-time postgraduate students recorded 25% of library users. In addition, part-time postgraduates represented 16% of the users. In contrast, distance learning and academic staff recorded 8% and 7% of library users respectively.
From the image it is evident that library users were most satisfied with the helpfulness of staff with 95%, 5% of the users were fairly satisfied and there are no users, who are not satisfied with this service. Similar pattern was observed in library opening hours, where 65% of the users are very satisfied, 35% of the users are fairly satisfied, and none of them are dissatisfied. However, half of the users are most satisfied with availability of books, 40% of the users are fairly satisfied, and 10% of the people were not satisfied. Furthermore, 45% of library users were very satisfied with the availability of journals, 35% of the people were fairly satisfied, and 20% of them are not satisfied, whereas 48% of the people were most satisfied with reliability of wi-fi, 33% of the people were fairly satisfied, and 19% of them are not satisfied
