The pie chart illustrates the proportions of academic staff at a university who were involved in different types of study, while the table shows library user satisfaction with five different aspects of the library.
Overall, full-time undergraduate students accounted for the largest proportion of academic staff-related activity, whereas distance learning represented the smallest share. In terms of library satisfaction, the helpfulness of staff received the highest level of positive feedback, while the availability of journals had the lowest percentage of users who were very satisfied.
Full-time undergraduate study made up 44%, followed by full-time postgraduate study at 25%. Part-time postgraduate study accounted for 16%, while academic staff and distance learning represented 7% and 8%, respectively.
Regarding the library, 95% of users were very satisfied with the helpfulness of staff, and the remaining 5% were fairly satisfied. Opening hours were also rated positively, with 65% being very satisfied. By comparison, only 45% were very satisfied with the availability of journals. The figures for books and Wi-Fi were similar, at 50% and 48%, respectively.
