Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the data, such as the user categories and satisfaction levels. However, the reporting is somewhat inconsistent. For instance, you mention '95% of the total were vary satified by helpfulness of staff' and '19% are not satisfied with the Realibility of Wifi', but these figures are not clearly linked to the provided data categories. The overview is also quite weak; it merely states the categories of satisfaction rather than highlighting the most significant trends or contrasts. To improve, ensure you clearly distinguish between the user demographics and the specific satisfaction metrics, and provide a more analytical summary of the key findings.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical. Phrases like 'the said survey data' and 'incontrast' (which should be two words) are used awkwardly. The transition between the demographic data and the satisfaction data is abrupt. To improve, use a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'conversely', 'in terms of') to connect your ideas more fluidly. Additionally, ensure that each paragraph has a clear focus, as the current structure feels a bit disjointed.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision. There are several spelling errors, such as 'vary satified' (very satisfied), 'Realibility' (Reliability), and 'incotrast' (in contrast). Additionally, the phrasing is sometimes unnatural, such as 'the survey's scale were very satisfied'. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary to describe data trends (e.g., 'accounted for', 'constituted', 'a significant proportion') and ensure that your spelling and word choice are accurate. Avoid repeating basic verbs and try to vary your descriptive language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('The pie chart illustrate', 'the survey's scale were') and punctuation errors, such as missing spaces after periods and incorrect capitalization. There is also a lack of control over articles and prepositions. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring that subjects and verbs agree, and proofread carefully to correct punctuation and capitalization errors. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy will also help raise your score.
