The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie and table charts illustrate the results of categories of library users and their satisfaction level regards the five different facilities provided from the library.

Overall, the full-time undergraduates were accounted for holding the largest fraction as compared to the rest of the four categories, while the proportion of the academic staff was showed for least. In the table chart, people were highly satisfied from the opening hours and the cooperative behaviour of the staff. However, less than a quarter were not satisfied with the availability of books, journals and getting reliable wi-fi.

In the first chart, almost negligible (7%) percentage of the academic staff was visited to the library, whereas the total of the 44% students were belonging from the full-time undergraduates, following with the one quarter full-time graduates. The friction of the part-time postgraduates was 16% even only 8% of the students were from the distance learning.

In terms of the satisfaction, 95% of the people were very satisfied from the staff which was the largest proportion among all and only 5% was fairly satisfied. Along with, 65% of the users were very happy as aspects of opening hours and 35% were rarely satisfied. The users were showed their dissatisfaction for the availability of books 10%,journals 20% even the networking issues 19%. And less than the half proportion of the users were neither very satisfied nor fairly satisfied for these three options.

Paragraphing is used appropriately, which helps the reader follow the structure of the report.

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey the information, using terms like 'proportion', 'fraction', and 'satisfaction level'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'was showed for least' instead of 'was the lowest', and 'satisfied from' instead of 'satisfied with'. The word 'friction' is used incorrectly in place of 'fraction'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the main points, they indicate a need for more precise control over vocabulary and common collocations in a formal academic context.

The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with passive voice constructions (e.g., 'was visited to', 'were showed their dissatisfaction') and preposition usage.
