The pie chart and table illustrate the survey results, which show users of the library at a university.
Overall, there are five categories of library users. Full-time undergraduate students account for the highest proportion, whereas academic staff have the lowest share of users of the library at the university. In terms of satisfaction, library staff helpfulness receives the highest rating, while availability of journals at the library has relatively lower satisfaction levels.
As per the chart, full-time undergraduate students account for 44% of all library users, followed by full-time postgraduate students at 25%. Part-time postgraduate students further represent 16%, while distance learning students and academic staff account for 8% and 7%, respectively.
In terms of library user satisfaction, 95% of users are very satisfied with the helpfulness of staff, while 5% and 0% are fairly satisfied and not satisfied, respectively. 65% of users are very satisfied with the opening hours of the library, though 35% are fairly satisfied. Half of the users are very satisfied with the availability of the books, while 40% are fairly satisfied and 10% are not satisfied. By contrast, only 45% are very satisfied with the availability of journals, and 20% are dissatisfied. Wifi reliability has a similar pattern, with 48% very satisfied and 19% not satisfied.
