Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers all parts of the task, providing a clear overview and selecting key features from both the chart and the table. You successfully identified the main categories of users and highlighted the satisfaction levels. However, the analysis is slightly mechanical in its reporting of figures. To reach a higher band, ensure that comparisons are more analytical rather than just listing numbers. For example, instead of just stating percentages, you could contrast the high satisfaction with staff helpfulness against the lower satisfaction regarding Wi-Fi reliability to provide a more insightful summary of the data.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, with an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs focusing on the chart and the table respectively. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Turning to', and 'however'. However, some transitions are slightly repetitive or awkward, such as the use of 'followed by' and 'the category of'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother flow between sentences would enhance the overall coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'illustrates', 'accounted for', and 'reliability'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'the most category of library' (should be 'the largest category') and 'the category of library opening hours are very satisfied to 65% learners' (which is grammatically awkward). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focusing on more natural collocations will help improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and preposition usage, such as 'the helpfulness of staff are very satisfied to 95% users' and 'with minimal difference of 2% are fairly satisfied in both the category'. These errors occur frequently but do not significantly impede communication. To improve, pay closer attention to pluralization and the correct structure of passive voice constructions when describing data.
