Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of both the chart and the table. You provided a clear overview and supported your points with relevant data. However, there are some minor issues with data presentation; for example, you wrote 'Part-time postgraduates at 16% of the total', which is a sentence fragment. Additionally, while you mention the categories, you could improve by making more direct comparisons between the user groups and their satisfaction levels to fully satisfy the 'make comparisons where relevant' requirement. Overall, the response covers the key information well and presents a logical summary of the provided data.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is logically organized, with a clear introduction, overview, and body paragraphs. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Overall', 'Looking at', and 'Regarding', which help the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the paragraphing is slightly disjointed; the second paragraph contains a sentence fragment ('While users are mostly happy...'), which disrupts the flow. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph contains complete, well-connected sentences and avoid mechanical transitions. The referencing is generally clear, but the structure of the third paragraph could be improved for better cohesion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'represent', 'portion', and 'satisfaction levels'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and phrasing, such as 'staff of helpfulness' (should be 'staff helpfulness') and 'causes some not satisfied' (should be 'causes some dissatisfaction'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensuring that your word forms are grammatically correct in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While many sentences are clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as the sentence fragment 'Part-time postgraduates at 16% of the total' and the awkward construction 'After that looking at distance learning and academic staff use the library the least'. These errors occur frequently enough to be noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding the data. To achieve a higher score, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensuring that every sentence has a clear main verb and complete structure.
