Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers all parts of the task by summarizing the categories of users and the satisfaction levels. You have successfully identified the main features, such as the highest and lowest user categories and the satisfaction trends. However, the overview is somewhat weak; it would be better to include a clear summary statement in the introduction or as a separate paragraph that highlights the most significant trends across both data sets. While the data is presented accurately, the comparison between categories could be more analytical rather than just listing percentages. To improve, ensure you synthesize the information rather than simply reporting each figure sequentially.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is logically organized into distinct paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the information. You use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', and 'In addition' to link ideas. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or repetitive. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the connection between the two different data sets (categories vs. satisfaction) could be smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate, but ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence to improve the overall flow and structure of the report.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'outcome', 'categories', and 'respectively'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'educational institute' (usually 'academic institution') and 'not even a 1% of people' (which is slightly awkward phrasing). You rely on basic descriptors like 'very satisfied' and 'just satisfied' repeatedly. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more varied synonyms and precise academic vocabulary to describe trends and proportions, such as 'a significant proportion' or 'a marginal percentage'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as '65% of user are' (should be 'users are') and 'not even a 1% of people are not satisfied in opening hours' (should be 'with opening hours'). There are also minor issues with articles and prepositions throughout the text. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent use of prepositions will help improve your accuracy.
