Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have successfully identified the main features of the chart and table, such as the highest user category and the top satisfaction rating. However, the response lacks a clear overview of the trends. While you mention the most prominent user group, the summary could be improved by grouping the data more effectively. Some comparisons are present, but the analysis is somewhat mechanical, simply listing percentages rather than synthesizing the information. To reach a higher band, ensure that you highlight significant differences and similarities more clearly, and avoid simply repeating data points without providing a comparative context.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The response is organized into three paragraphs, which is appropriate for this task. There is a logical progression from the pie chart data to the table data. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat repetitive and occasionally awkward, such as the transition 'Then other categorization in order was for...'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more naturally, rather than relying on simple sequencing words.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic descriptors like 'highest' and 'same percentage'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'analyzed for visit ratio' and 'having ratio for round about'. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary related to data reporting, such as 'accounted for', 'constituted', or 'a significant proportion'. Avoid informal phrasing like 'round about' in an academic report.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with article usage ('the highest satisfaction level was Helpfulness of the Staff'), subject-verb agreement ('the most prominent library user were'), and sentence structure ('While distance learning and academic staff were almost same percentage'). The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and pluralization. Incorporating more complex sentence structures, such as relative clauses or participial phrases, would also help demonstrate a wider grammatical range.
