The given chart and table shows the result of a survey of library users at a university.
Overall, full-time undergraduate accounted for the largest proportion, while academic staff represented the smallest share. In the terms of satisfaction, helpfulness of staff recevied the highest level of satisfaction whereas, the availability of journals had the lowest very satisfied responses and the highest proportion of not satisfied users.
Looking at the pie chart, full-time undergraduate constituted the largest group of library users, accounting for 44%. Full-time postgraduate were the second largest category, at 25%. Part-time postgraduate made up further 16%, while distance learning represents 8%. Academic staff accounted for the smallest proportion, at just 7%.
Turning to the table, helpfulness of staff have highest satisfied users of 95% with 35% fairly satisfied users. Library opening hours also have relatively high satisfied users of 65% remaining 35% fairly satisfied. For the availability of books, 50% are very satisfied, 40% fairly satisfied and remaining 10% are not satisfied.
The figure for reliability of wifi and availability of journals are relatively low. As for reliability for wi-fi 45% being very satisfied, 35% fairly satisfied and 20% are not satisfied. Lastly availability of journals has the lowest very satisfied users of 45%,33% of fairly and 19% of not satisfied users.
