The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The statistical representation illustrates ab out the final result of a survey of library users at a university.

Overall, full time undergraduate users are mostly use library . While academic staff use less amount of library. Where the very satisfaction level of user in library is helpfulness of staff. Also fairly satisfied users are the same helpfulness of staff but very lowest amount of users.

In detail, library users are occupy most users by full time undergraduate with 44%. While full time postgraduate pupils spend 25% in library. Part time postgraduate use 16% of library Whereas distance learning users use only 8% of library. Academic staff use 7% of library.

In library user satisfaction level was very satisfied in helpfulness of staff with 95%. But It slightly decline in library opening hours with 65%. In case of availability of books users were very satisfied with 50% ,while in availability of journals users used 45%. And reliability of wi-fi users were slightly go up to 48%.

In fairly satisfied users were high in availability of books . In helpfulness of staff were very much less in this group with just 5%. While in library opening hours and availability of journals were satisfied 35%. And slightly reduce in reliability of wi-fi with 33%.

In not satisfied level of user were 0% in library opening hours and helpfulness of staff. In availability of journals had recorded the highest users of library with 20%, While in reliability of wi-fi it decrease 1% of above users. In availability of books users used only 10%.

Phrases such as 'very lowest amount' and 'slightly go up' are unnatural and imprecise. The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but word choice errors, such as 'library users are occupy most users', impede the clarity of the message. A wider range of synonyms and more accurate collocations are needed to improve the lexical score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
