The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The provided pie chart elucidates the data regarding the ratios of 5 distinct kinds of library users, while the table chart demonstrates the percentages of satisfactions achieved by the readers utilizing several facilities of the library.

overall, it is evident that most of the library users were full-time graduates, and in the table chart, the helpfulness of the staff is depicted as oddly satisfying.

In terms of the pie chart, one-forth of the whole proportion of readers had been occupied by the full-time postgraduates, whereas nearly half has been devoted to full time undergraduates. Part time post graduates accounted for 16% of users, while distance learners and academic staff were witnessed as 8% and 7% respectively.

Turning to the table chart, the proportions of not satisfied were least among all as those were 10, 20 and 19% among the categories of availability of books, journals and wi-fi reliability respectively. 65% of readers were very satisfied with opening hours, and 95% them were very satisfied with helpfulness of staff. Moreover, the satisfaction by availability of journals was less than half of those satisfied by staff. Lastly, the remaining were fairly satisfied.
