The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart illustrates the categories of library users namely: academic staff, full-time undergraduate, full-time postgraduate, part-time postgraduate and distance learners, while the accompanying table displays the proportion of satisfaction based on various parameters of the library.

Overall, there is a significant variance in the library utilization, full-time undergraduates utilizes the most, while only a fraction of academic staff uses the library. Furthermore, most of the users were very satisfied in various aspects of the library with moderate response for fairly satisfied.

The pie chart gives the distribution of who uses library. Exactly 44% of bachelor students utilizes library which comprises of largest portion of users, followed by a quarter of full-time postgraduates. Moreover, twice the portion of part-time graduates uses library compared to distance learners. While, the least is utilized by the academic staff members just 7%.

In terms of library user satisfaction, 95% people were very satisfied with helpfulness of staff. Reliability of wi-fi and availability of journals was major concern for the users, with 19% and 20% of users reported not satisfied. Almost 33% to 40% individuals were fairly satisfied with all the categories except helpfulness of staff were almost everyone was very satisfied.
