Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

You have identified the main categories of library users and the satisfaction levels, but the response lacks a clear overview and fails to effectively compare the data. For instance, you list percentages for user categories but do not group them or highlight the most significant trends. Furthermore, the data interpretation is occasionally inaccurate, such as the mention of '255' for full-time students, which is not supported by the chart. To improve, ensure you provide a clear summary of the main trends in the introduction and group related data points together rather than listing them sequentially. You must also ensure that all figures cited are accurate reflections of the provided visual data.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is presented as a single block of text, which makes it difficult to follow. There is a lack of paragraphing to separate the user categories from the satisfaction survey results. While you use some cohesive devices like 'However' and 'Furthermore', the overall flow is disjointed. The referencing is also unclear at times, such as in the sentence 'the students those whose are online are 8% those who use library.' To improve, use clear paragraph breaks to distinguish between different data sets and focus on using cohesive devices to link ideas more naturally rather than relying on repetitive sentence structures.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic phrasing. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'not to satisfactory' instead of 'unsatisfactory' and 'not upto mark'. You also struggle with precision when describing data, using phrases like 'the parttime students those who are in postgraduate'. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary to describe trends, such as 'proportion', 'majority', 'minority', and 'significant', and work on improving your control over word forms and collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'the percentage of the full time users oof the library are the undergraduate students', and awkward sentence construction, such as 'the students those whose are online'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing capital letters at the start of sentences and misuse of commas. You rely mostly on simple sentence structures. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and practicing the use of complex sentences to demonstrate a wider range of grammatical control.
