The pie chart and table illustrate the results of a survey conducted among university library users, showing their categories and satisfaction with various library services.
Overall, full-time undergraduate students constituted by far the largest proportion of library users, while academic staff represented the smallest group. Regarding satisfaction, staff helpfulness received the most positive feedback, whereas the availability of journals and the reliability of Wi-Fi had comparatively higher levels of dissatisfaction.
In terms of user categories, full-time undergraduates accounted for 44% of all users. This was followed by full-time postgraduates at 25% and part-time postgraduates at 16%. Distance-learning students made up a relatively small proportion of 8%, while academic staff represented only 7%.
Turning to satisfaction levels, 95% of respondents were very satisfied with the helpfulness of staff, with no dissatisfaction recorded. Library opening hours were also viewed positively, as 65% were very satisfied and the remaining 35% were fairly satisfied. In contrast, only 45% were very satisfied with journal availability, and 20% were dissatisfied. Wi-Fi reliability showed a similar pattern, with 19% expressing dissatisfaction.
