The figures below illustrates the conclusions of a survey of library users at a university.
Overall, there are five categories of the library users and majority of them are full-time undergraduate students whereas the academic staff are the least. There is variability in the satisfaction of members in different factors.
About 44 percent of the visitors are full-time undergraduate students while the full-time postgraduate are 25 percent. There are some part-time postgraduate learners around 16 and 8 percent are of learners engaged in all courses. Few academic staff are also visitors of library about 7 percent.
Many users are greatly satisfied about the opening hours of the library but some are fairly satisfied. Majority of the visitors are completely satisfied with the helping of the staff however a small number of them are fairly satisfied. Half of the users are satisfied about the availability of books however some are mildly satisfied and few are not satisfied. Again around half of the people are satisfied about the journals availability but 35 percent are fairly satisfied and 20 percent are not satisfied and similar satisfaction is about the wi-fi reliability.
