The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart below illustrates the results of a survey of library users at a university whereas the table shows the satisfaction level of users.

Overall, it is evident that the highest percentage of library users were full-time undergraduate students whereas the academic staff accounted for lowest proportion. However, the largest proportion of users were satisfied with helpfulness of staff.

Full-time undergraduates accounted for largest proportion of library users at 44%. Followed by full-time postgraduates at 25%, however the figure for part-time postgraduate was considerably lower at 16%. only 8% of the library users were from distance learning programs. However academic staff of university accounted for just 7%.

Regarding satisfaction level, 95% of users were very satisfied with helpfulness of the staff while none were dissatisfied. Followed by library opening hours at 65%, half of the library users were very satisfied with availability of books. Although 10% of the users were dissatisfied with thsi aspect. Moreover, the 45% of users are very satisfied with availability of journals compared with 40% who were very satisfied with reliability of Wi-Fi connection.
