Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of the data, such as the highest and lowest categories of library users and the satisfaction levels. However, the report lacks a clear, analytical comparison between the two datasets. For instance, you mention the satisfaction levels but do not link them back to the user categories effectively. To improve, ensure you provide a more comprehensive overview that synthesizes the information rather than listing data points in isolation. While you covered the key trends, the analysis remains somewhat descriptive. Aim to group related data points more logically to highlight significant differences or similarities between the groups.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'Conversely', 'To begin with', and 'However' to transition between ideas. However, some of these transitions feel mechanical or slightly forced. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear; for example, in the final paragraph, the jump between user categories and satisfaction levels lacks a smooth transition. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices and ensure that the progression of ideas within and between paragraphs is more fluid and natural.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey the main points, such as 'proportion', 'utilized', and 'categories'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'The data are showed' (should be 'shown') and 'the least users were not satisfied' (should be 'the fewest users'). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms and ensure that your word choices are contextually appropriate for an academic report.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader, such as 'were use library' (should be 'used the library'), 'the least users were not satisfied in the library opening hours' (preposition error), and '95% of users were very satisfied in Helpfulness' (should be 'with the helpfulness'). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb tenses and the correct use of prepositions in academic contexts.
