The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The given pie chart illustrates the data on different sets of library users in a university, and the table shows the satisfaction of those users in five different aspects.

The majority of users are full-time graduate users, at 44%, followed by full-time postgraduate students, at 25%, and part-time postgraduate users, at 16%; distance learning and academic staff users were the least among all users, at 8% and 7%.

On the other hand, regarding satisfaction, 95 users were very satisfied with the helpfulness of staff, and the remaining 5 users were fairly satisfied. Library opening hours got the most positive response: 65 users were very satisfied, and 35 were fairly satisfied, with no disappointment.

Availability of books got half of the very satisfied users; 40 users were fairly satisfied, and 10 users were disappointed. For availability of journals, 45 were very satisfied, and 35 were fairly satisfied, with 20 disappointed. For reliability of Wi-Fi, 48 users were very satisfied, and 33 were fairly satisfied, with the remaining disappointment.
