THE PIE CHART AND TABLE ILLUSTRATES THE RESULTS OF A SURVEY OF THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY USERS.

OVERALL, FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE MADE UP BY FAR THE LARGEST SHARE OF LIBRARIES USERS,WHILE ACADEMIC STAFF MADE UP THE SMALLEST. USERS WERE MOSTLY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES , SATISFACTION WAS HIGHEST FOR HELPFULNESS OF STAFF AND LOWEST FOR AVAILABILITY OF JOURNALS.

MOREOVER, DISTANCE LEARNING FOR ALL COURSES AS WELL AS ACADEMIC STAFF WERE THE LEAST USERS OF THE INSTITUTIONAL LIBRARY, BOTH RECORDED LESS THAN 10 PERCENT USERS IN A SURVEY.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers all parts of the task by summarizing the pie chart and the table. You successfully identified the main features, such as the largest user group (full-time undergraduates) and the highest satisfaction category (helpfulness of staff). However, the analysis of the table is slightly confusing. You mention that 'most of the users are very satisfied' and that ratings were 'more than 45%', but the interpretation of the 'fairly satisfied' and 'not satisfied' data is unclear and lacks precision. To improve, ensure that your comparisons are mathematically accurate and clearly linked to the data provided in the table, rather than making vague statements about missing ratings.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, a body paragraph for the chart, and a body paragraph for the table. You use some cohesive devices like 'overall', 'on the other hand', and 'furthermore' to link ideas. However, the flow within the second body paragraph is somewhat disjointed. The sentence 'Although very few people were not satisfied in the library in which some of them didn't gave rating' is grammatically awkward and disrupts the logical progression of the comparison. Improving the transition between sentences and ensuring consistent referencing would help achieve a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'accounted for', 'respectively', and 'satisfaction'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'the largest users of university library' (should be 'the largest group of library users') and 'highest percentage achiever' (should be 'highest rated category'). Additionally, there are minor spelling errors like 'PEOLE' instead of 'people'. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring that your vocabulary choices are natural and contextually appropriate for a formal report.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. For example, 'THE PIE CHART AND TABLE ILLUSTRATES' (subject-verb agreement error), 'FOLLOWING BY FULL-TIME POSTGRADUATES' (incorrect participle usage), and 'didn't gave rating' (incorrect verb tense). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, these recurring errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevent the response from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage.
