The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

This pie chart illustrates the different categories of library users at a university, while the table gives information about their satisfaction with several library services.

Overall, full-time undergraduates made up the largest group of library users, whereas academic staff were the smallest group. In addition, the helpfulness of staff received the highest level of satisfaction, while the availability of journals had the highest percentage of dissatisfied users.

Full-time undergraduates represent the largest group at 44%, followed by full-time postgraduates who account for 25%. Part-time postgraduates make up 16%, while distance learning students and the academic staff make up the smallest groups at 8% and 7%, respectively.

At last, regarding user satisfactions, staff helpfulness receives the highest rating, with 95% of users feeling very satisfied and the remaining 5% fairly satisfied, with 0% dissatisfied. Similarly, opening hours receive zero dissatisfaction, with 65% mentioning they are very satisfied and 35% fairly satisfied. While, Journall availabilty and wifi reliabilty show the highest dissatisfaction, at 20% and 19% respectively, although 45% and 48% were very satisfied with 35% and 33% users being fairly satisfied.
