Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have successfully identified the main features of both the chart and the table. You provided a clear overview and supported your points with relevant data from the prompt. However, the response lacks a more sophisticated synthesis of the data. For instance, instead of listing percentages in a repetitive manner, you could have grouped categories or highlighted significant trends more effectively. The data is generally accurate, but the description of the 'not satisfied' category for opening hours is slightly inaccurate based on the provided table, as the table shows 0% for 'not satisfied' rather than implying it was not mentioned. Overall, you have covered the requirements well.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response is logically organized into paragraphs, with an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs focusing on the chart and table respectively. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In contrast', 'meanwhile', and 'moreover'. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by mechanical phrasing and some awkward transitions. For example, the phrase 'Talking about library users' is a repetitive and informal way to start a paragraph. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is smoother would help elevate the coherence of the essay.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'dominant', 'satisfaction', and 'respectively'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'one forth part of users' (should be 'one-fourth of users') and 'no any not satisfied users' (should be 'no dissatisfied users'). The repetition of 'users' throughout the text makes the writing feel somewhat limited. To reach a higher band, you should aim for more precise terminology and avoid repetitive sentence structures.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the response, particularly with subject-verb agreement and article usage. For example, 'The pie chart illustrate' should be 'illustrates', and 'table display' should be 'table displays'. Additionally, there are issues with punctuation and sentence structure, such as 'no any not satisfied users' and the run-on nature of some sentences. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often marred by these errors. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your score.
