The pie chart and table illustrate survey results regarding the users of a university library and how satisfied they are with different services.
Overall, full-time undergraduate students are the largest category of library users, while academic staff make up the smallest group. In terms of satisfaction, users are most happy with the staff helpfulness and opening hours, but they are least happy with the wi-fi reliability and journal availability.
Looking at the user categories, full-time undergraduates form the biggest group at 44%, followed by full-time postgraduates at 25%. Part-time postgraduates comprise 16% of the total users. Meanwhile, distance learning students and academic staff represent small shares, at 8% and 7% respectively.
Regarding satisfaction, staff helpfulness receives the highest rating, with 95% of users saying they are very satisfied and 5% fairly satisfied. For library opening hours, 65% are very satisfied and 35% are fairly satisfied, meaning no users are unsatisfied with these two services. On the other hand, although 50% are very satisfied with book availability, 20% of users are not satisfied with journal availability and 19% are not satisfied with wi-fi reliability.
