The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart provided here demonstrate the findings of a survey conducted in a university providing statistical data on the proportion of different categories comprising library users and their overall satisfaction with the library or its service.

Overall, the the data given in the chart shows that full-time undergraduate students account for most consistent users of library followed postgraduate students, while academic staff is apparently the one using library the least.

To narrate the information given in the pie chart, it is incumbent to look at the numbers given in detail. For instance, full-time learners in undergraduate programs have been the most prominent among all the categories of the users of library, occupying a touch below half of the total usage of library. Followed by this, is the group of full-time postgraduate library users who are slightly more than the half of the undergraduate users of library. Those in part-time postgraduate courses are double the proportion of those in distance learning, while the academic staff accounts for the least percentage among all.

Moreover, the library service in general may well be recognised as excellent because the lowest number of people are unsatisfied with its service while a huge majority believes it provides excellent service. A mark or below 100% of the users consider the staff super helpful and considerate as well as arounr 65% are happy with the opening hours of the library. In a unique manner, most unsatisfied users are those having complaints regarding the unavailability of books and journals.
