The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Categories of library users

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart illustrates the proportion of five different categories of indviduals, who use university's library, while table shows the satisfaction levels for five different facilities in the library.

Overall, a majority of full-time undergraduates use library among all categories, whereas, least faculty members visit the library on daily bases. Moreover, internet facility and availability of journals have shown the least satisfaction levels.

First of all, 44% of full-time undergraduates use library, that is the highest proportion of all users, while full-time postgraduates are on seocnd number with 25% of pupils visiting the library. The category " distance learning" contributes 8%, which is half of the part-time postgraduates (16%). Just 7% of the academic staff facililitated by the library, which is lowest of the all.

Regarding satifaction levels, staff is very cooprative and 95% of users are very satisfied with them

while just 5% are fairly satisfied. Journals' availability seems to be a problem as students and 20% of users are not satisfied while just 45% and 35% are very satisfied and fairly satisfied, respectively. Moreover, 48% and 50% of users are very satisfied with wifi's reliability and availability of books, respectively. while just 10% are not satisfied with books' availability.
