The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given pie chart and table gives the information about the library users survey results at a university.

Overall, it can be seen that full time undergraduates accounted for the largest proportion of library users. Many of the users gave positive reviews about library opening hours and helpfulness of staff.

Turning first to the pie chart 44% represented full time time undergraduate using the library. Followed by full-time postgraduates accounted for 25% while part-time postgraduates stood at 16%. However distance learning and academic staff accounted for 8% and 7% respectively.

Table shows library users satisfaction percentage. 65% users were very satisfied about library opening hours while non of the users were unsatisfied. Similarly 95% users were very satisfied about helpfulness of staff and 5% were fairly satisfied. Half of the users were very satisfied with availability of books and 10% were not satisfied. Moreover majority of the users were satisfied with availability of journals and reliability of wi-fi and 20 % and less then 20% users were not satisfied.
