The pie chart demonstrates how many types of students use the library, while the table presents information on the proportion of satisfaction from a survey.
Overall, Full-time undergraduates' library usage outweighs the other categories. Conversely, the Academic staff are the least frequent users of the library. Furthermore, the highest satisfaction of users is achieved through the helpfulness of the staff, while the lowest satisfaction is with journal availability.
As far as library usage is concerned, full-time undergraduate students mostly get the advantage of that, at 44%. The second major category of students, at almost 25%, is full-time postgraduates, then part-time postgraduates and distance learning students at 16% and 8% respectively. Academic staff, on the other hand, have the lowest proportion of library usage at 7%.
In addition, the satisfaction rate differs, and it depends on 5 factors. The factor which accounts for the most satisfied students is the helpfulness of the staff, which is 95%, meanwhile, the availability of journals is regarded as the least satisfied factor. Other factors such as library hours, availability of books, and reliability of Wi-Fi account for 65%, 50%, and 48% respectively.
