The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The chart and table depict the outcome of a survey of people using the library at a university.

Overall, the library is mostly used by full-time undergaraduate students followed by full-time graduate students. The opening hours of the library and the hospitality of the staff stand out as the most notable features of this library, as it had no unsatisfied user in these aspects.

As evident from the pi chart, 85% of the library users are students, with full-time undergraduate students forming nearly half of the users, followed by full-time postgraduate students who occupy exactly a quarter of this pi chart. The academic staff, distance learning courses and part-time students combined, form only a little over a quarter of all library users.

According to the user satisfation table of the library, every user seems to be satisfied with the opening hours and the staff of the library. As for the availability of books and journals, nearly half of the users seem very satisifed, with a few reporting dissatisfaction. The reliability of the wifi connection as well seems to satisfy almost half of the users, while the other half seem distributed among fairly satisfied and not satisfied.
