The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Categories of library users

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart illustrates the proportion of library users in terms of different category pupils at the university. The table discribes the satisfication percentage of the users.

It is clear by survey that full-time undergraduate students were the most dominent users of the library. While the acadmic staff members were least intrested in library usage.

Full-time undergraduate students solely contributed 44% of the total, while the library attracts 25% full-time postgraduate learners among the total. On the other hand, the part-time postgraduate students contributed 16% which was more than the contribution of remaining two categories; distance learning and academic staff which contributes only 8% and 7% respectively.

It is evident that the majority of students found the staff helpfulness as survey states that 95 % users satisfied with staff's behaviour and not a single user who was not satisfy with it. Availability of journals was the category which failed to satisfy most of the students as only 45% users found it perfect and 20% not satisfied. Library opening hours satisfies 65% pupils and recieved zero unsatisfied student. The remaining two availability of books and reliability of wi-fi satisfied 50% and 48% users respectively with 40% and 33% fairly satistied learners respectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
