Here there is a clear dominance of helpfulness of staff where everyone is almost satisfied around 95%. More users shows their dissatisfied in availability of journals which is great concern. Library openings hours and helpfulness of staff doesnot have a single percentage of satisfaction .In availability of books there is mix feelings amongs users it can clearly seen not much differences in very satisfied and fairly satisfied

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5

The response attempts to cover the main features of the visual data, noting the highest category of library users (full-time undergraduates at 44%) and the lowest (academic staff at 7%), as well as referencing the satisfaction table. However, the information is presented in a very fragmented and informal manner. For example, describing full-time undergraduates as 'making itself barely half of it' is vague and imprecise. Furthermore, the student misinterprets the satisfaction data in places, stating that 'Library openings hours and helpfulness of staff does not have a single percentage of satisfaction', which contradicts the chart where 65% and 95% expressed being 'very satisfied' respectively. Overall, the task is only partially addressed due to inaccuracies and under-developed reporting.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The organization of the text is weak. Although the response is broken into several paragraphs, the progression of ideas lacks logical flow. Paragraphs are extremely short and disjointed, often consisting of single, poorly constructed sentences. Transitional phrases are either misused ('Over all , from the bar charts', 'Where as') or entirely absent, making the text disjointed. Referencing is also faulty, such as using 'it' ambiguously in sentences like 'making itself barely half of it'. Paragraphing does not reflect a clear structuring of information between the chart and the table.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples of errors include 'differents version' instead of 'different categories', 'darastic down fall' instead of 'drastic decline', and 'survive as second last'. The student attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'dominance' and 'moderate', but these are not used with accurate collocation or style. Precision in reporting data is lacking, relying on vague terms rather than accurate lexical representation of statistics.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most complex sentences attempted are faulty or ungrammatical, such as 'From the chart we can see the there's a full dominance of full time undergraduate with 44% making itself barely half of it.' There are frequent errors in punctuation (spaces before commas, run-on sentences) and subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'More users shows their dissatisfied', 'Library openings hours... doesnot'). Errors are frequent throughout the response and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader.
