The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie and table charts illustrate the usefulness of library users at a university in which pie chart contains different users including students as well as academic staff whereas table involves level of satisfaction because of different amenities.

overall, library users are mostly full-time undergraduate however least users were academic staff. Moreover, library opening hours and helpfulness of staff are two amenities which does not show any dissatisfaction while availability of journals and reliability of wifi showed higher dissatisfaction.

In details, 44% of library attenders are full-time undergraduate whereas full time postgraduate attenders were 25%. 7% and 8% of library goers are academic staff and distance learning students respectively. Conversely, ratio of part-time postgraduate users are double of distance learners.

Furthermore, users are extremely contended with the helpfulness of staff by 95% and remaining 5% are fairly satisfied. Similarly, 65% attenders are very satisfied with the opening hours and rest 35% are fairly satisfied. Half of the library users are satisffied with the availability of books while from rest 50% users 40% are fairly satisfied and 10% are not satisfied.
