Overall, students accounted for the vast majority of library users, especially full time undergraduate. The majority of the student's users were generally satisfied with its services with staff receiving the highest ratings, whereas journals and wifi evaluated less positively.
The students dominated library use with full-time undergraduate students making up the largest share at 44%. They were followed by full-time postgraduate by 25% and part time postgraduate by 16%. Meaning these 3 groups together accounted for 85% users. In contrast, distance learning students and academic staff users are with 8% and 7% respectively.
Regarding satisfaction, 95% of the responded were very satisfied with staff helpfulness, while 65% felt the same about opening hours, neither category receive any negative responses. However, satisfaction was lower for journals, books and wifi. Jornels had the highest proportion of dissatisfied users 20%, followed closely by wifi 10%, suggesting these were the library's weakest area.
