The pie chart illustrates the distribution of different category of library users, while the table shows their level of satisfaction among various aspect of library services. The units are calculated in percentage.
Overall, full-time undergraduates accounted for the largest proportion of library users, whereas academic staff represented the smallest percentage. In terms of satisfaction, the helpfulness of library staff received the highest level of satisfaction, while the availability of journals had a comparatively lowest level of satisfaction rate.
Looking at pie chart in more detail, it can be clearly seen that full-time undergraduates made up 44% of the library users, representing the largest proportion. Full-time postgraduates accounted for 25%, while part-time graduates represented 16%. The remaining users consisted of distance learners and academic staff stood at just 8% and 7% respectively.
Now turning to the table chart, it is observed that 95% of the users were clearly satisfied with the helpfulness of library staff, while 5% were fairly satisfied. Satisfaction with the supply of journals was considerably lower, at 45% and 20% users were dissatisfied with this aspect. Meanwhile, 65% of the users were very satisfied with the library opening hours, compared with 48% who were satisfied with the reliability of wi-fi.
