The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given chart and table demonstrate the findings of a research of library users of four different categories academic staff, part and full time postgraduates, distance learning and full time undergraduates at a university, along-with this the table presents thier satisfaction levels about library services.

Overall, full time graduates shares the largest proportion of library usage, in contrast the academic staff contributes the smallest share, distance learning surpass it by 1%. Furthermore, Part-time postgraduates has comparatively less numbers than full-time postgraduates.

The library satisfaction rate highly relies on helpfulness of staff by 95%, that's the highest number. on the other hand, availability of journals shows the lowest satisfaction rate and highest not satisfactory. Respectively availability of books and reliability of wi-fi share almost simmilar percentage of 50% and 48%, additionally both lies into not satisfied coloum with 10% and 19%. Library opening hours holds its position at second highly satisfied portion.

In conclusion, full time undergrads contains the highest share of library usage, full and part time postgrads has the second big amount while academic staff and distant learners are at smallest part. Furthermore the library statisfaction rate is greatly depends on staff helpfullness and opening hours. Whereas, availability of books, journals and wifi reliability are responsible of unsatisfied users.
