The pie chart and table below illustrate the results of a study of library users at a university.
Overall, it is evident that full-time undergraduate students accounted for the largest proportion. While, academic staff and distance learning accounted for the smallest proportion. Regarding the table, helpfulness of staff has the highest satisfaction percentage of library users, while availability of journals has the lowest satisfaction percentage.
Regarding the first pie chart, full-time undergraduate students experienced the highest proportion at 44%, followed by full-time postgraduate and part-time graduate experienced the 25% and 16% respectively. Whereas, academic staff accounted for the lowest percentage at 7%, followed by distance learning (all courses) accounted for the 8% of totsl library users.
Turning to the table, library opening hours accounted for the 65% very satisfied and 35% fairly satisfied, followed by helpfulness of staff experienced 95% very satisfied and only 5% fairly satisfied. While, availability of journals experienced the 45% very satisfied 35% fairly satisfied and 20% not satisfied, followed by reliability of wifi accounted for 48% very satisfied 33% fairly satisfied and 19% not satisfied. Furthermore, availability of books experienced the 50% very satisfied 40% fairly satisfied with 10% not satisfied.
