The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart shows the proportion of a survey of library users at a university accounted by for different types of users. While, the table present the information about users satisfaction with the amenities provided by the library.

Overall, In the pie chart it is evident that the highest proportion is accounted for the full-time undergraduate users, by contast the least proportion share by the academic staff. The full-time postgraduate users recorded a quater of the total, whereas part-time postgraduates experience a 16% share. Furthermore, distance learning accounted of 8% share which is 2nd lowest share, similarly academic staff made up just 7% of users and the lowest share among all the users. However, full-time undergraduates had a 44% share nearly half of the total.

Moving on to the table, More than half percentage of the users are very satisfied with opening hours of library, while 35% are fairly satisfied. 95% users are extremly satisfied with helfulness of satt with just 5% users are fairly satisfied. Half of the users are remarkably satisfied with availability of books in the library, while 40% are just fairly satisfied and remaining users are not satisfied. Among all, the highest users are not satified with availability of journals, whereas the lowest recorded for availability of books. Approximately similar users are extremly satisfied with both journals and reliability of wifi that is nearly 50% and under 50% are fairly satisfied.
