The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given pie chart illustrates data of a survey of library consumers at a university whereas, the table indicates satisfaction percentage on various categories.

Overall, from the pie chart a vast proportion of full-time undergratuate students uses the library followed by full-time postgraduates. Based on the data from the table individuals are very satisfied with helpfulness of the staff.

According to the pie chart 44% of full-time undergraduate students referred the library. Whereas, a quarter full-time postgraduate used the library. This proportion was closely followed by part-time postgraduates with 16%. Distance learning students and academic staff's proportion is relatively low with 8% and 7% respectively.

Users reported high satisfaction in respect to helpfullness of staff which is about 95%, whereas 20% of individuals are dissatisfied with the availability of journals. 65% of people are satisfied with the library opening hours with 35% firly satisfied. Half people are happy with the availability of books with 40% fairly satisfied. Lastly individuals are very satisfied with availability of books and wi-fi with 45% and 48% each.
