The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The Pie chart illustrates the proportion of the library users in the university, while the table provided information about the satisfaction level of the library users, expressed in percent.

Overall, Full-time undergraduate students have the highest library users in comparison to others, while the Academic staff have the smallest proportion. In terms of satisfaction, Helpfulness of staff gets the highest and more positive rating, while the Availability of Journals gets the highest dissatisfaction rating.

According to Pie chart, the Full-time undergradute make up to 44% of library users, almost twice the proportion of full-time Post graduate, 25% of library users. Part-time Postgraduate represent further 16% of users. Distance learning (all courses) is 8% of users. Academic staff comprise of smallest group of 7% users.

The table shows, that users are particularly satisfied with Helpfulness of Staff, with 95% of describing themselves very satisfied and 5% fairly satisfied. Library opening also got good reviews, 65% of very satisfied and 35% of fairly satisfied.

By compars comparison, satisfaction is lower regarding Availability resources and wifi. Half of books are fairly satisfied 40% and 10% not satisfied. As per the Journals figures 45%, 35%, 20% making it the least satisfied overall.
