The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The provided pie chart illustrates the proportion of the results of a survey regarding categories of library users in a university, while the table demonstrates the data about the satisfaction of library users with the facilities provided by the library.

Overall, full-time undergraduate students made up significant portion of the library users followed closely by full-time postgraduates. Furthermore, with the exception of few every user was satisfied with how helpful the staff was and also there was zero dissatisfaction among users about the openining hours of the library.

Full-time undergraduates accounted for the significant chunk of library users at 44%, whilst 25% of users were full-time postgraduates. 16% of part-time postgraduates were also regular library readers and the rest share was made up by distance learning at 8% and academic staff at 7%.

There was not a single user who was not satisfied with the opening hours and helpfulness of the staff of the library. In contrast 20% and 10% users were not satisfied with the availabiloty of journals and availability of books respectively and 19% showed dissatisfaction with realibility of wifi. Moreover, 95% of the users were fully satisifed with how much they found the staff helpful followed closely by library opening hours and availability of books at 65% and 50% respectively. 45% and 48% users very satisfied with availability of journals and realibility of wifi, while the remaining proportion accounted for the people who were fairly satisfied.
