The pie chart presents the proportions of the library users categorized into 5 cateogries and table gives the library user satisfaction in percentage across five criteria.
Overall, full-time undergraduate students account for the highest proportion of library users and full-time postgraduate category is at the second number while academic staff accounts for the lowest proportion. Meanwhile, library users are the most satisfied with helpfulness of staff. Availability of journals and reliability of wi-fi amass relatively more fairly satisfied and unsatisfied users.
Full-time undergraduate students account for 44% of library users, the highest proportion among all categories, with full-time postgraduates at 25% and part-time postgraduates at 16. Distance learning category and academic staff account for 15% collectively, where academic staff has the lowest percentage of 7%.
Library users reported high satisfaction rate of 95% about the helpfulness of staff. However, 65% of users are highly satisfied with library opening hours and 35% are fairly satisfied. Both of these categories has 0% of not satisfied users. In contrast, 90% of users are stasifed (50% highly satisfied and 40% failrly) with availability of books, whereass 10% shows dissatification. Similarly, 20% of users are not satisfied by availability of journals, and 19% of users complained about the reliability of wi-fi. Meanwhile, 80% users reported their satisfaction with availability of journals and 81% are satisfied by relability of wi-fi, a marginal difference.
