The table and chart illustrate the results of a survey of library users at a university. Several categories of library users are discussed in the chart and the satisfaction of library users are explained in the table.
It is clear that majority of full-time undergraduate students show keen interest in the library followed by full-time postgraduate students as compared to other part time students and staff.
Five types of categories were discussed and 44 % were full-time graduate students. 25% of library users were full-time postgraduate students, whereas 16% were part-time postgraduate students. 85 of users consist of those people who are involved in distance learning and only 7% academic staff were interested in library.
Level of satisfaction of library users depends on various factors such as opening hours, availaibility of materials, and helpfulness of staff. 65% people were very satisfied with the opening hours of library and 35% were fairly satisfied. Almost all the people were very satisfied with the helpfulness of staff, whereas only 5% were fairly satisfied and there was not a single people who was not satisfied with the staff. 50% of people were really satisfied with the books availability and 35 % were fairly satisfied and 20% people were not satisfied at all. Majority of people completely satisfied with the availability of journals, while 35% were fairly satisfied and 20% were not satisfied. 485 users believed that wifi connection was really strong, whereas 33% were not fully satisfied and 20% people were completely unsatisfied with the wifi connection.
